It's ideally located in the heart of Vila Nova de Gaia, the best place to start discovering the wonders around the river Douro and Porto historical charisma. It's just a subway ride away from Porto city center. The area surrounding the house is also worth a visit, specially the famous Oporto Wine cellars and the Douro river banks overlooking the iconic Ribeira and the D. Luis Bridge. → House A tradicional house where you will find a very cozy atmosphere enhanced by the beautiful wooden stairways and authentic stone wall. It's the absolutely perfect place for couples, families or small groups of friends looking to embrace the Portuguese hospitality. Please note that there are stairs to access the house. Entrance patio is shared with other residents. → Bedrooms In the upper floor there's a very roomy and elegant suite with a queen-size bed and air conditioning, while in the lower floor, at basement level, a second bedroom with two single beds and a writing desk. Please note that the basement areas may be more prone to have some humidity, and related odors, especially during periods of heavy rainfall. → Bathrooms The house has two bathrooms with shower. → Living/Dining Room The living room has a flat screen TV, air conditioner, an inviting sofa and a dining table for 4. → Kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, stove, kettle and coffee machine (coffee not included). Microwave not available. → Laundry On the outside of the house, there's a private laundry with washing machine. Additional Info: → The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided. → Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in. → The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance. → Check-in time starts from 15:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided. → We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information. → Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table. → During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied. → Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee. → Monthly consumptions are included up to €150. → City Tax will be charged according to the law.
